The Newsom Total Dust Suppression System was designed to collect virtually all drilling related dust, and cuttings
generated while dry-air-rotary drilling through suspected hazardeous drill sites, especially radioactive materials,
and hazardeous fibers in the .3 to .5 micron size range. Test for the Yucca Mountain Project, Nevada Nuclear Waste Storage
Investigation Project (NNWSI). Co-Principal Investigator with James M. Ray Los Alamos National Lab.
The second Newsom Total Dust Suppression System was designed in conjunction with consulting work performed at
the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Environmental Restoration Department, Los Alamos , New Mexico.
Our dust suppression systems have been used extensively at the Nevada Test Site, (NTS) on environmental projects
for the DOE Environmental Management-Special Projects Office.
Most of our fugitive dust mitigation / management systems are used in conjunction with dual wall reverse drilling systems,
and rotating pack-off assemblies between casing and drill rods.
